Quality is created in the overall process
Quality requires a holistic understanding of the process: everyone who has anything to do with the part to be manufactured is jointly responsible for it. This is why we have long relied on WIM (Worker Integrated Manufacturing), or "worker self-monitoring" - through this special form of quality awareness, we integrate our employees more closely into the processes and give them more responsibility for what passes through their hands. Combining WIM with the implementation of our comprehensive QM system as an integrated online management system has taken quality at Schuhmacher to a whole new level.
Quality assurance before production
The focus of our work is on the quality actually produced, not the quality tested. This is why our quality management is directly integrated into production from a technical perspective. And this begins in the work preparation stage: our tool management ensures precise preparation for production through good preliminary work in design and tool preparation.
Quality assurance during production
A high proportion of skilled workers, a good level of training and our statistical process control ensure structured communication between our employees in production and our quality assurance department during the production processes: Our teams on both sides of the door between the test laboratory and production are committed to the same goal in the production process: the optimum quality of what is produced for you on our machines.
